The words "Reasonable price" and good quality color case hardening don't go together.
You can get good looking work or you can have some poorly colored work, and possibly warped parts.

For good work see Doug Turnbull, they're world class custom restoration experts who know more about color case hardening then any one.

Turnbull Mfg. Co. for firearm restoration of antique guns - antique revolvers, antique pistols - including 1886 Winchester rifles, Marlin rifles, Parker shotguns, Colt revolvers, and more

Depends on what you want.
Case hardening or color case hardening.
Fariswheel pretty well summed up CCH.
If its simple case hardening you want, it can be a home job,
Brownell's sell surface hardening compound.
