Hey everybody, haven't posted in a while and would appreciate some feed back.
I bought my BG 380 almost a year ago for my personal carry and have loved it. A few weeks ago, when my son and I went to the range, I fired two shots and experience an unusual (I hope) jam. (I haven't been on the site for a while so I haven't seen any similar posts if there are any)
The plastic cover for the built in laser had come loose and was wedged between the body and the barrel, with the slide back and open.
I called and received a return shipping label and shipped it back for repair last week.
I have never opened or attempted to remove the plastic cover.
Has anyone else had this issue and are there any others I should be aware of?
I clean my guns properly after every outing didn't notice anything out of place or unusual during the last clean / inspection.
I've had some normal break in period issues but nothing uncommon for most new guns.
If this would have happened in a critical situation......well I don't even like to think of the probable outcome.
This has been my everyday personal carry and as we all know,
you have to have full faith in your gun.
I've requested, with my returned for repair BG 380, that this and any and all other issues or repairs be made while they have it.
I really like my BG I hope I can learn to trust it like I once did.
Any and all feed back and reassurance will be appreciated.
BTW, SN is EBB3XXX
