Default Can you make a Schofield a double action

I have been toying with the idea of trying to make a Schofield into a double action. I have a Uberti 2nd model that I thought would be a good one to start on. any suggestions?

I suspect given the constraints of the frame size that it is not possible. A .44 (Russian) Double Action would be a good period alternative and less expensive than attempting a conversion.
