I'm not sure how Putin and Obama's State Dept would react to international sales of firearms components.
Export License requirements???????
Chime in experts.

These parts aren't the main at this weapon. International sales of these parts are allowed.

Always wondered if there were still any S&W Russian model revolvers over there.
Still hoping that someone pulling another million Mosin Nagants out of storage would stumble upon a cache of the S&Ws.

It would be quite good to find such hiding place! But, unfortunately, almost all revolvers of "S&W russian" of the military order are destroyed in the first decades of the USSR.

Old parts are getting extremely hard to find. Finding any of them will be difficult. Finding all of them will be impossible. For that reason, guys that have them tend to hang on to them. You're better off looking for a "parts gun". That won't be easy either. Good luck.

Russian Parts
Origional parts are very difficult to find, however the Italians have produced copies of the old Russian pistols. I have one in caliber .44 Russian. I do not know if any of those parts will fit or could be made to fit? Uberti copies are everywhere.

Slow down, Abraham. Hobbies are life-long endeavors. The one that you've chosen will take at least that long to accomplish. One part at a time may be the best you can hope for. Don't give up, but don't expect these old, old treasures to fall into your lap. It won't be easy, but when you're done, you will have done the near-impossible.
