Default SW1911 External Extractor - Dan Wesson Patriot ?

Hi - i know there are lots of people on the forum who 'have been around' when it comes to guns, so thought I'd ask my question here. (Haven't had any success anywhere else so far.) Does anyone know if the external extractor, and its small retaining pin and the extractor spring on the SW1911 are the same as used on the old Dan Wesson Patriot ? I understand that S&W provided some of the forged slides to Dan Wesson (pre-CZ ownership) and then Dan Wesson did the CNC machinging and final fitting. On the photos that I've seen, the SW1911 external extractor sure looks a whole lot like the external extractor on my Patriot. Thank you in advance for any help you may provide on clearing this up for me.
