Default quick question on MP shield 9mm

I have a question. does anyone know that if you drop a shield 9mm on tile floor will it damage the firearm? I don't think it dropped on the muzzle I think it dropped sideways. I dropped mine today on my tile floor and the outsides fine I was worried about internal damage somehow? any one else been in my shoes? I took it apart everything looks good I just haven't fired it yet it. loads and unloads fine, cycles every round through so I was just worried about it. what should I do?

Make sure the gun is empty, cock it, drop a #2 pencil eraser first down the barrel, point the barrel to the sky or ceiling and pull the trigger. If the striker works the pencil will be launched out of the barrel into the air.

I checked the firing pin safety in the slide it didn't move when it was not depressed but moved when it was pressed. so ill take It as it works. but I was just worried dropping it would damage a firearm. thanks for the comments and the tips.
