HELP WITH ROSSI RIFLE MODEL 62
Hope someone can help. I need desperately an EXTRACTOR for my son's ROSSI Model 62 gallery pump .22 rifle. [ S,L,LR] Serial number 6142XX. Purchased in the late 60's. Maybe I can be directed to the right source? THANKS

I am NO expert on that particular model, but it might pay to go on a Rimfire Forum or two and find out if Winchester parts will also fit your Rossi. That way you can broaden the parts availability. Just a suggestion because the Rossi is supposed to be a copy of the Winny. Obviously the REAL Rossi part would be the best way to go if at all available.

Try asking this guy too:
Steves Gunz
Although he specializes in the '92 style lever guns, he also does other Rossi work and should know, if anyone does, where to get parts.

Here's a link to Winchester 1890/1906/62 extractor.
Read the info,,it states that with a very minor modification, it will
also fit the Rossi 62.
I've never fit one to a Rossi myself, so I can't say one way or the other. But if the Rossi is a Win62 copy, it certainly doesn't sound out of the ordinary.

I was just going to suggest Homestead Parts, 215hq beat me to it. I used an ejector spring for a Winchester 92 from Homestead on my Rossi M92 and it not only fit perfectly it also did wonders for the excess level of tension with the Rossi spring.
