wanted a model 25 so had my gunsmith convert this highway patrolman. Shoots like a dream.

Did you polish it? It looks sweet but higher gloss than most 28's I've seen (admittedly not that many though)

Gee, I did that about 40 years ago....
45 Colt and another cylinder in .45 ACP.

It was a pre28. It has a higher gloss than my 28, but it is still not as shiney as the barrel and cylinder. I originally planned to have it rebelled, but I think I may just leave it since it was meant to be a shooter.
