Default first upgrade for me

Hi: I finished putting an apex sear on my shield today. Not really too difficult. the pin holding down the block was difficult to get out but persistence ruled the day. Before installing the apex, the trigger measured an average of 5 pounds 9 ounces for 10 samples, it had a good bit of creep and felt pretty gritty. With the apex, it is now 4 pounds 4 ounces again for 10 samples, and is silky smooth with very little creep. I have arthritis and am older, I have been having a good bit of trouble throwing shots low and right (I am left handed) I am hopeful that this will help with that. I followed the youtube by a guy from apex it was good but not complete. To all of you who say this is a 5 minute job, I guess you are all experienced gunsmiths, for me, it took about 40 minutes including one reseat of the block. I think the sear alone is a good choice for those who need a lighter trigger.

I put in only the Apex sear a couple of years back. It took me about the same amount of time but it was time very well spent.
My trigger now sits at about 5-1/2# and is perfect for carry.
