Nut Spanner Wrench

Where can I locate a nut spanner wrench which operates like a pair of plyers ?
I have seen the screwdriver type but recall a type that is like a pair of plyers in which the teeth can be used for different widths screws

I have no idea where, however even if I did I would not recommend one! Any pair of pliers that will adjust to any size nut is prone to slipping and stripping of said nut. A one tool fits all is convenient, but certainly NOT the best tool for the job. It's like the guy who owns two screwdrivers for all screws - look at his screws and I'd bet they are all bunged up and or stripped.

Even tools that are purposely designed for nut removal like an adjustable wrench will round off nuts because their design allows them to unintentionally loosen. They are OK for a one time removal but of you are routinely removing the same nuts, I'd use a specific & correctly sized good quality socket or box-end wrench.

I have seen (mostly Plumbers & Electricians) use Adjustable Channel Locks as a one size fits all wrenches and after inspecting the nuts after they do a plumbing or electrical job it is not hard to see the damage an ill fitting tool can do.

Many people don't give a hoot as long as they can remove a nut, but do it enough times, round it off too much and guess what - - - - the next time it will be difficult to remove without a pair of vice grips.

It all depends on the size of nut you are talking about and whether you need flat tabs or round pins. Makes a big difference is you need to tighten a S&W windage nut or adjust a bearing lock ring on your 4-wheel drive trucks front axle!
