Any one know where I can get one. This would be for the 10XX magazines. Can find everything on Numrich except this item. Ck S&W, gunsparts and Jackfirst + another couple of places but no luck. Fortunately, have a total of 4.
Magazine butplate failed and the catch assembly + spring was launched in grass.
I made several from ~0,025 inch stainless sheet stock using tin snips. Use a latch from a good mag as a pattern and plan on screwing several up. It's tedious, but not difficult. I machined down a brass screw for the locking post, but you could file one down.
Given the time involved, I'd have to charge about the cost of a new mag for them, so don't ask.
