While I would prefer a 681 fixed sight revolver over my 686, I think the easiest and cheapest thing to do would be to add an aftermarket fixed sight to my 686. I see on Cylinder and Slides website, they have sets and give the sizes (.250 & .300). I presume they are talking about the height of the front replacement sight? I only want to replace the rear sight. I am not interested in dovetailing a new front sight. Who offers a "drop in" rear fixed sight for my 686-3 4 inch?
