Hi guys, I have a Smith Wesson 327 TRR8, and when I took it apart to clean it, a tiny spring came loose, I have no idea where it came from, and I watched countless videos online and checked many websites to look at all the different parts, and I can't find anything that matches it. It looks almost like a smaller version of the hand torque spring that go inside the trigger, but it's much smaller, and I can't figure out where it's suppose to go. Does anyone know what this spring is and can tell me how to install it back?
Thank you so much

If it has the internal lock, maybe part of that mechanism? I don’t know, just guessing. Sorry I can’t be more helpful.

Did you remove the hand from the trigger? The hand requires forward spring pressure to advance the cylinder.

It is a torque lock spring. This piece is installed onto the lock arm and is responsible for turning the lock arm back into the revolver. It goes on the frame-side of the lock arm. On the smaller stud.
