Default 2213 Stiff Magazine Latche

I have recently acquired a 2213 pistol. Very nice.
The magazine latch is very stiff, to the point that I have to use the end of a small pocket knife (folded) to depress it.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You might check the components under the left grip panel for impacted debris or old lubricant. A little light oil or solvent in that area might free things up a bit.
