Default Swapping Heritage Parts

You may think me dumb, but I was wondering, can the Hammer & Trigger be exchanged for the older model 50s-90s forged parts ? Just not a fan of the MIM parts. Aware if they're working let'em be thoughts, and keeping any warr..intact..
Thoughts or Experience w this appreciated !!
Best, Randy..

I don't know about triggers. I'm pretty sure the switch to MIM hammers coincided with the change to frame mounted firing pins.

Sometimes forged and MIM parts are OK together, sometimes not. It mainly depends on how the forged parts were machined. You can try with the parts you have. If it doesn't work, you can always trade back.
