Is it safe to shoot .38 +P in a model 15-2?

Any model marked steel K frame is perfectly safe with +P ammo.

I have shot +P in Model 10's many times...+P ammo is a very subtle "magnum" feel without having some of the magnum issues. I am a fan.
A Model 15 is nothing more than a Model 10 with adjustable sights, so I personally would have zero problem with it.

The late ArtDoc/Saxon Pig wrote several posts on this issue. He pooh-poohed the idea that modern .38+p was all that hot. Clearly the old .38/44 load was a lot hotter and IIRC it was him that posted old brochures showing that even that stuff was acceptable in most revolvers, including the Colt D frame and S&W J frame.

All-steel K-frame 38 Specials are safe with 38 Special +P. 38 Special +P safety information really should be a "sticky" thread somewhere.
