I'm sure you're good to go on the takedown lever, but I've heard of problems with broken firing pins even into the EAJ S/N range. My 380 (EAH) had a broken firing pin which was fixed by S&W, along with a very hard to operate safety lever. No problems since I got it back from S&W.

The new 9mm and 380 I ordered were shipped from Lewiston, Idaho. The 9mm was all Speer brass and the 380 was all Blazer brass. I think it's loaded using Speer facilities in Lewiston. Good ammo, I've had no problems with any I've used.
I've used their new in both 380 in my BG380 and their 9mm in my SD9, with no problems at all. I have not used a lot of it so far(100 rounds each).

According to Utahconcealedcarry.com, it seems currently to be taking from 45-60 days. I also agree with Firearmsrookie's comment about getting your application in promptly.

I just bought one yesterday with an EAH12XX S/N which my dealer had just received. It was test fired on 12/17/10. Everything seems fine with it so far, although I haven't been to the range yet.
