    Make Safety Inoperable

When I had a Shield, I did not care for the safety either. I cut part of it off, and touched up the unfinished metal with a Sharpie. Worked great for me. To bad the Shield safety is not as easy to remove as the safety on the M&P 9c. Might reduce resale a bit, but Shields are pretty...

Looking for good leather owb holsters.

Now that might be the best option yet. Get one custom made, for cost... Great way to try a new holster.

Looking for good leather owb holsters.

Heard lots of good things about El Paso. I have not handled one myself. And to the OP, if you carry a lot, you most likely will have a drawer full of holsters that did not work out for some reason. Another option is Milt Sparks, not real cheap, but a solid holster that you can sometimes find...

    Brothers please forgive me

The 'Tupperware' stuff has its place. I wish I had not sold my Shield. With prices as low as they are now, I may rectify that mistake. I am curious how the BG compares to the Shield on the range.

.38 Spl. vs 9mm for CC

Pretty dang good comparison of revolvers vs semi auto. I may not agree with it 100%, but very good video. It did make me cringe watching him put loaded guns in pockets without a holster. Of course, I carry 38 Super... :)

Looking for good leather owb holsters.

Jason Winnie. Jason Winnie Leathergoods Some of his exotics can be spendy, but he made all my carry holsters, good price, great quality. Made in US by a guy who shoots. IMHO, be careful shopping for very cheap holsters and belts. If you are going to carry a gun, a good belt and holster go...

    Texas permitless carry

Thought you had to have a CC permit to open carry handguns in Texas?

    Plowshares into swords

Got more $ in guns than dishes, but I like to cook, so have way more dishes than guns. Especially if you include the paper ones, they make great cheap targets...

    ...Strange But True...

Wow, you can get a whole bag of them around here for like $2... Heard one sold for a stupid amount cause it looked like a gorilla or something. Some people will pay for crazy stuff...

    Concealed carry

As stated, a good belt, an OWB holster, and an untucked shirt or jacket, and you are good to go. I prefer a spare mag as well. I carry a 1911 or a M&P 9C in one of this guy's OWB holsters: Jason Winnie Leathergoods

FINAL DATA POST 217: How do you make a 9mm bullet act more like a .45

38 Super seems to be what you seek. :)

    "Ghost Guns"

I would like to see some common sense public safety laws that reduced the ability for out lawmakers to spew out high capacity BS.

1987 Remington 870 Blued with wood

Love it! Something about an older pump shotgun with wood furniture that I love! Not to bash Remington, but in my experience, the older stuff is more better.

Took my RIA .45 compact to the range today

Nice, they make a good little 1911.

    Ruger or Springfield

Been very impressed with my SA Range Officer. But Ruger has a good following as well, I don't think you would go wrong with either one. Or, just by them both. :)
