    k-22 O.D. front sight

after further inquiry, there is no evidence that the sight had been swapped, no punch marks etc, so I'm confident it came this way from the factory, thank you Lee, I did not know that they intermingled them, much appreciated.

    k-22 O.D. front sight

I dont have access to the gun, the owners reputation is unquestionable, so a special order might answer this, although only a letter would determine if this would be so.I am with you on the 63xxxx range having the gold bead.

    k-22 O.D. front sight

maybe some of the k-22 experts here can clear up some confusion I have concerning the call bead front sights. I have serial # 64,44xx with the silver bead. I have a chance to buy one in the 65,xxxx range with the call gold bead, my question is, how can a later serial # have the gold bead?thanks...

    US Navy Victory

This is a US Navy Victory I've had for a couple of years. Condition-wise it is very nice. As I recall, I believe 1943 vintage. Shown here with shoulder and flap holsters and canvas cartridge pouch. V-251314

    K-22 Outdoorsman

A recent hospital stay delayed posting this Outdoorsman I picked up a couple of weeks ago. It is about 99% condition. My pictures don't do the gun justice. This is my third and I find myself wanting a early gold bead sight like DC Wilson posted. My wife thinks I already have enough of these.

    An "Indoor" Outdoorsman?

I would like to add, that my picture taking ability is poor at best, they dont do the gun justice at all, DC Wilson, you are to be complimented on your ability to show very nice pics of your gun, one of the reasons I hesitate to post pics, they never come out the way I would like.

    An "Indoor" Outdoorsman?

When one thinks of an "outdoorsman", we think of someone who spends a lot of time outdoors. This K-22 Oudoorsman, spent most of its time "indoors", I think. It dates from 1935-36 #6565XX, and is in about 98%+ condition. I'd like to get another. Any idea on what the prices of 98-99% guns with...

    K-22 box literature

Other than the "helpful hints" leaflet in the pre-war Outdoorsman boxes, was there any other paperwork included? Any pics would be appreciated. I'm trying to complete the contents of my red box. Are these papers ever available? Thanks in advance.

    Memorial Day M & P

I received the gun about a year ago from a friend who was a distant relative of the original owner, he had a book of forest service men who had served in the war, and the descriptions of their service.

    Memorial Day M & P

This 38 Special, isn't that special, they made thousands of them, yet the original owner would qualify as "special". His name was Don Frazier. In 1916, he went to work for the Forest Service as a forest guard at the Bull Run Oregon National Forest. In 1917, he entered military service, aviation...
