The longer barrels shoot really nice…

I was not sure the box was original.

This makes my 3rd Silhouette. Rbmac52 is correct, The barrel is 10-5/8”. I’m pretty sure all Silhouettes are that length.

My local gun store called me the other day and told me they had a consignment gun that they thought I might be interested in. I went over and they brought this out… Barely a turn ring and no muzzle wear, I think it may be unfired.

I like it so far, shoots pretty well…

I always thought it was funny that WM stopped carrying handgun ammo, but they still carry .22LR, which is now pretty much the most popular handgun ammo in use…

Electric vehicle batteries don’t use lead. The 12v battery for auxiliary systems might, like any gas powered car.

I just bought the RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme kit from Brownells, since they had a good deal on it. Starting out reloading .44 magnum, since I have about 2k empty brass I’ve saved up for the past 10 years or so. Now if I can just find primers…

The rubber grips help a lot with the felt recoil, i think. I put wood grips on mine in the display case, change to rubber for the range.

Definitely not an Automag II, that is chambered in .22WMR. The Automag III is chambered in .30 carbine, and shoots just fine, very easy, and not really that loud. Big fireball though…
