I have been looking in my S&W book but cannot find any info on a 640-1 3" barreled one in .357 Mag. Did they make one and how common are they?

It's not quite as nice as Shooting4life's is, no box, no papers. I just really like 3" revolvers. My Glock 35 is pretty much mint as only having 1 mag ran thru it. I think I may be letting my lust for a 3" M13 getting the best of my common sense.

BTW, I am planning to trade a Glock model 35 o.d. tht is just setting in the safe. I really love it but never shoot it.

Sorry, forgot to say that it is P&R. Like I said,there are some spots, (wear) under the thumb piece and backstrap. But since I want this for a carry gun it's a moot point.I just really,well ok, really, really like 3"S&W's. I have a 3" model 36 flatlatch and a 3" model 940. 3" revolvers Rock!!

I have a chance to get a 3" model 13-2. Blue is pretty good, a little loss below the thumb piece,backstrap. One other question, I know the FBI carried these, what holster would they have used, Thanks

I just looked at a new 642 at my dealers. It had the nicest wood fingergrove grips I ever felt. It had the S&W laser etched? on them with checkering. Anyone know who makes them for S&W?

Ihave to agree a Tyler "T"grip is a great addition to any of the J frames. I don't carry or have ever shot my model 40 but heres a pic. Also have them on my model 940

I have a nib mdl40 no dash,unfired with box and papers

I have one also, It is unfired, with box, papers and tools. Still has the pin under the grips to deactivate the grip safety.

Thank you. I really love the Tyler "T" Grips. I wish they we're easier to find. They don't come up that often and when they do their grabbed up pretty quickly. I would like to find a couple more of them as I have severl J frames I want to add them to.
