It all comes down to why you want it.Are you a collector.The price of these guns keeps going up.I'm sure in a year or two you will be ahead of the game.It might seem a lil high but I don't know that particular gun so I can't say. I know if you look at my avatar that is a gun I spent 5 1/2 years...

Have you been able to find anything else out yet concerning your schofield. I have an excellent book that I purchased this year and is full of info. It is helping me with my schofield.

I just bought in Denver this past May, the new 3rd Edition Standard Catalog of Smith-Wesson by Jim Supica & Richard Nahas. This is the most current and has been very helpful to me as I recently acquired a top break model and it gives lots of detail on identification.
