differences between m&p and sigma 9mm

Ive shot them both.. I imagine the M&P is made with tighter tolerances and stuff, but the main/only difference I noticed was the trigger. (as has been stated above) The M&P has alot lighter/smoother trigger on it.. They both felt the same in my hand, as far as pointing and shooting.. I didnt get...

    Sigma "front sight" removal?

Thanks for the info! Figures they would do something like that, so ya cant remove/replace the sight w/o damaging it.. Some may actually like to try other sights w/o having to send it back to S&W if they decide to go back to stock..

    Sigma "front sight" removal?

Hey, has anyone removed the "front" sight from a Sigma9VE?? I thought most front sights were held in with a screw or nut, but the bottom of mine looks like it's a blob of melted plastic or something? Any idea how they come out and go back in?? Thanks!!

    Pictures Of Sigma Internals?

Hey guys, been posting my findings in all the "sigma" mod threads that I come across.. I put in a Wolff reduced power "striker" spring, from MidwayUSA, and it killed the reliability of my Sigma9VE.. Made the trigger feel alot better, but in 30 rounds I had 3 FTF's due to light primer strikes...

    Sigma Trigger mods(Caution)

Just an FYI for anyone doing mods to their sigma.. I have the 9ve, and before it was a 100% gun, going bang every time.. I got the reduced power striker spring from Midway USA, and now the gun is very inconsistant.. In 30 shots I had 3 "clicks" due to light primer strikes.. All 3 bullets I...

    occasional misfire with SW9VE

For anyone who's curious.. I just put a Wolf reduced power striker spring in my Sigma9VE and it's totally turned it into a "clicker".. About 10% light strikes now.. (Was a 100% "go bang" gun before that alteration) As my buddy put it, the Sigma isnt the gun for tinkering with.. Just put it in...

Do Sigma's still have investment cast firing pins?

Not sure what the firing pins are made of, but your the first I've read of that had a firing pin failure.. As far as I know they're very resiliant and I wouldnt hesitate to buy another sigma for SD purposes!!
