    occasional misfire with SW9VE

Randy, glad ya (remembered) figured it out! I dont know why Wolff would come out with SUCH a reduced power spring? Especially when it causes misfires so frequently? The original Sigma9VE spring is 4.75lbs.. The Wolff reduced power is 3.50lbs.. Seems like quite alot of room between the two, for...

    66-2

I agree, thats a "can't pass up" price, if the guns in real nice shape! Especially if you dont have to add s/h or FFL fees!! I tracked 66's for over a month straight on Gunbroker and 380.00 was the lowest a snubnose 66 went for.. (Next best was like $420.00 if IIRC) And those still had $25 for...

Price check on 686-4 Plus with 2 1/2 in. barrel

Dude, I aint disclaiming your data. I dont care one way or the other, nor do I need a flow chart to know what the goin price is.. (Especially not one with 5 guns sold over an 8 month period, there snowflake) I posted that the gun would sell "quick" at 500.00 and your figures show they average...

S&W transitioning away from "lock" frames!(?)

This is just my opinion, but even though S&W swear up and down they'll never stop making firearms with the lock, I imaging if their sales dip much from the rest of the market, they'll be offering w/ or w/o models of just about every model they produce, before to long.. It only makes good...

    "JACK LLOYD" Model 58?

That things a hack job.. Looks like someone held it to the grinding wheel.. Almost took the "S" off, on the serial number.. This GM character is tryin to sell someone a lemon and needs to be reported to Gunbroker for fraud or something..

Price check on 686-4 Plus with 2 1/2 in. barrel

Those Bud's guns for 594.00 all have a lock though, and that kills the deal for quite a lot of folks.. If they had pre-lock guns NIB for that price they'd sell out faster than an AR15 on election day.. (Hey, I made a funny) Allglock, IMO you could sell your -4 right quick for $500.00 (not...

    Is this 686 worth $300 as-is?

If it was a 2" or 3" Id say sure, but a 4" with that kinda work needed at $300.00 I'd pass.. Follow the 686's on Gunbroker for 2 weeks and I'd bet something nice that'll you see "at least" one 4-6" 686 in complete, very good condition, go for $375.00 or better..
