CZ SP-01 with an extra mag. My situation is very unique, I don't carry on my body. Many many years ago I broke my neck (motorcycle) which left me riding a wheelchair. The good news I can carry petty much any full size pistol I want under my seat cushion.
First 610 Mt. Gun I've seen. Very cool. Is this one part of the Lipsey's special run or a new offering from S&W? My 610 is one of my favorites. Range report soon? Is that a gold bead front sight? Do you like it?
The 10mm is getting more attention with ammo prices coming down and more...
I'd be all over a 29-5 or -6, 5" brl for $1500. Even with the numbers being somewhat soft right now. Anything under is a very good deal. And if it's a DX I'd expected it to go for even more. All this assuming it's in excellent condition.
Most of my experience with a scoped pistol is with a T/C, one thing for sure with magnum pistols you don't go cheap. If you buy budget it's trouble. Quality is key.
That said I don't care for a scoped pistol. I have trouble with them, just couldn't shoot accurately consistently. Now reddots...
Moby Dick. I've taken a couple of runs at it but Melville writes in an old English that I just suffer with. I get no enjoyment only frustration. I guess I shouldn't have skipped English class so much.
Any mechanical device/product is going to have normal wear and tear. Not to many companies are still supporting a product after 28 years of service. We live in an age of, they don't build them to fix them, if it brakes buy a new one.
Kudos to S&W.
Salvaged this Ithica from a barn which was left in a corner to rust. Fortunately the internals cleaned up good. Cut the barrel at 18.1", did a rattle can camo job, custom forearm and added the pistol grip buttstock. Thinking a reddot would be a cool addition.
I'm an Oshkosh native, we look forward to the big show every year. Planes flying over, you never know what you're going to see, bi-planes, WWII fighters, current military jets, the blimp, Sky writing, it's quite a show.
I don't think they are rifling. What is the diameter? I suspect it's larger than the barrel and it rifling. I would agree it's probably something to do with assembly.
