Try it with those grips but it would be a whole different experience with the rubber grips. Everybody is different, if you don't like what's on it change it. Me I love shooting 44s.

I've seen references to the change from RH to LH threads on the extractor rod and that there is a visual tell on the rod. Can someone explain this or better yet pictures of the difference.

The Ruger MIV is well worth the money. Very modular with a lot of after market support. Easy break down for cleaning. I've got the 22/45 very happy with it.
