I have 3 39A's and would never sell any of them. If you don't have a Marlin 39A then you need to get one. They are plenty accurate for squirrel hunting.

I checked one out at a shop last week. Fine looking rifle as posted above. Ruger is doing a good job on the marlins. They are priced high but fine rifles.

Marlin 39A is the only 22 rifle you will ever need. I have many 22 rifles and the 39A's have always been my favorite by far.

I put one of those together many years ago without the use of a power screw driver. I don't think they made electric screw drivers back in the day.I don't remember using a drill with a driver bit either back in those days. It has been many years though. There was not such thing as battery...

I get some hawks and eagles hanging out here pretty often. They are welcome to the squirrel's as far as I am concerned. Plenty of snakes for them around here also.

I have one and like it. They will handle the 357 for sure.

I also like the 28-2's. I have one 1980 nickel and one 1961 blued. Factory nickel are very rare.

Of course here in Florida we have a lot of snakes. The Black Racers and rat snakes are always welcome around my place. They are great about keeping the rodents down and even help to keep the venomous away some. Growing up the old timers called Yellow Rat snakes Chicken snakes. They do like eggs...
