I agree with Revolver-dude. What I would ideally like is Smith to produce something with a 9mm and a .357/.38 cylinder in DA a la the the FN Barracuda and the Manurhin MR73... Now that in 4" or greater barrel length I would like...

For this sort of problem I'm a fan of having ammo interchangeablility. I think a .357 Combo is about right, ideally in "all weather" plastic/laminate with stainless barrels (ideally the flat, beaded blasted or painted to keep down glare)... Now, for an interesting rig, how about a .500 S&W...

I think my choice would be a multi barrel set for a Mossberg 500 coupled with an 8-shot smith in .357...
