Model 29-3 go or no go?

yes.. The grips are Hogue and the previous owners dog chewed on the back a little bit. It has an AVT prefix. The finish has some minor issues but I guess it was an OK deal at the price.

Model 29-3 go or no go?

I returned this morning. After closer inspection it had, wide hammer, wide trigger and some minor wear at the muzzle end, some minor freckles and a very small scratch on the side plate. I could still get it for $400 OTD.

There is a Smith& Wesson Model 520, N frame, pinned 4 inch barrel, blued, .357 magnum for sale. It evidently was part of a 3,000 contract for the New York State Police but they were never issued. Sounds pretty good..also looks pretty good. Any feed back is welcome.

    Model 64-1 stainless MPD marked..

Rick, I thought about the stainless advantage in the humid sub-tropical climate in Miami. There are also some stainless Smith .40 cal semi autos around here that are Dade County marked. It seems likely that there are a few more revolvers like mine out there. Thanks for the info.
