Sorry, but this hurts my eyes…

This is my favorite. Due to its weight, it comes with little wheels and a string to pull it behind you, like an old timey kid's toy. Other accessories include a flame thrower that uses a Bernzomatic Mag-Torch® Self-Lighting Torch to use it as a flame thrower, and fold-out wings that provide...

    In Praise Of A Glock.

I have owned and gotten rid of a G-17, a G-19, a G-43, a G-45 and a G-48 MOS. Nothing against these Glocks; it's just me. I couldn't get used to the Edward Scissorhands trigger. My favorite was my G-48 MOS, as it felt really good in my hands. But, when a friend fell in love with it and offered...

    Another disappointing gun show

Cougar015, I hope that the Lakeland Gun Show you attended is our Club's (the Lakeland Rifle & Pistol Club). We are always appreciative of positive feedback, since it is all done by Club members who volunteer to work it, and believe me, we put a lot of work into it. After we pay off all our...

    Pistol Caliber Carbines

Do you live in a secluded dwelling? I live in a subdevelopment and I would risk shooting into a neighbor's house with a firearm chambered for 300 Blackout...

    Pistol Caliber Carbines

Agree. Put a sling on the PCC (I have a one point detachable swivel on mine) and keep it fairly close to your body. While someone is trying to snatch it away from you, pull out your EDC handgun and double-tap the bad guy. This goes hand in hand with your last paragraph.

    Plinking Fun Chinese SKS

When *most* people bought a new gun, the first thing they did was to throw the cardboard box in the trash. The same thing applied to documentation ("papers") for war trophy firearms. A friend and fellow ckub member was shooting at our range aType 54 Chinese Tokarev some time back, and I asked...

    Medicare Advantage Plans

Aetna PPO, in Florida. Been retired for 3 years and my wife both have it. Have had a chance to change, but we are so pleased with it that we have elected to keep it each time. When I was bitten by an Eastern Coral snake two years ago, 5 vials of the anti-venom (provided by Florida Poison...

IF I were going to buy a 9mm Glock...which one and what to add/change?

I tried, Oh Lord, tried. But sooner or later I got rid of them. With all that being said, I liked the grips of the single-stacks, even though I have large hands. For deep concealment, I carried a G-43 in a Galco pocket holster. For an all-around, I liked the G-48 with a Holosun.

    Prayer Request

Well wishes to you! My father in law had it and he survived it. Interestingly, he was asked if he had worked somewhere that dealt with new tires. He had--for years. Apparently there is some kind of correlation. https://www.lungcancercenter.com/who-lung-cancer-affects/tire-rubber-industry/

I thought that the price of using a credit/debit card was the interest payed.

Some comments... - If at all possible, I avoid gassing up at name-brand gas station where they charge you the higher price for gas...even if you use their brand cc (same as if you were using Visa, MC, etc.) To get 10¢ - 15¢ off per gallon, you have to use greenbacks. I try to fill up at...

Why can't they improve the "stench" to make it even better? My friend's wife gave me a "what for" last night - lol

Agree with those who think that it smells like a pair of crusty, dirty socks that had been in a PhysEd locker for years 😂 A friend who swears by it gave me some in a jar. After a whiff, I set it aside with a "Lubricant - For Emergency Use Only." According to the website, "BALLISTOL is the ideal...

Other than guns, let's see your "other" S&W stuff....

Speaking of "limited edition" items; how about this gun magazine ad selling a gawdy Taurus disguised as a commemorative S&W Victory Model for big bucks? I feel sorry for the families of WWII vets who bought them for Dad as a special present.

Other than guns, let's see your "other" S&W stuff....

If I understood correctly, these pins were given to members attending the Annual Meeting and Symposium in the early days, instead of S&W challenge coins. Apprarently the enamel over copper plate pin looked very amateurish, and a lot of members were extremely unhappy with it, to the point that...
