    M&P Shield 45 Problem

I've learned. . . Great thread. I was interested in the Shield in .45acp, however this thread has changed my mind. I'll wait until I no longer read about S&W initial and service concerns with this model. That may be some time, as from what I have been reading, manufacturers are selling...

    38 S&W Ammo

Just purchased some PPU (Privi Partizan) from an ammo supplier at a gun show in Phoenix. 145gr. lead round nose. Paid just under $19 for 50 rounds.

    625 JM Owners

Looks good - poor quality control Had to return due to canted rear sight and ill fitting grips. The rear sight was repaired by the factory. The grip design and attempted repair (if any) is very poor; amateurish and actually left splinters in the web of the hand. It seems as if almost is now...

    Shield and handloads

In realize that manufacturers won't warrant handloads. However, unlike some, I shoot too much to be able to afford only factory stuff. If a firearm cannot function reliably with lead handloads - it is not for me. Just want to learn from some who also handload and own the Shield. Thanks!

JM grips These grips are ill fitted with very poor quality control. They actually provide the shooter with free splinters in the firing hand. I sent them back for repair, along a misaligned rear sight. The sights were fixed, but the grips were returned as sent. They still fit as if they were...

Jerry Miculek grips how are they?

The JM stocks came on a new 625JM. They look great, however are ill fitting and even cut the hand when firing. After a trip back to customer service (also had a rear sight that was not properly installed), it still had a large gap between the back strap and the grip. It will take new grips to...

    V-44 Survival knife

Here is one, however it is of WWII era. The sheath is brown leather stitched in rear with small tear in throat where owner put a rawhide keeper. Written on the sheath is: ."USMC 4 Bgt 2By/ Canal, Bouganville”, with hand drawn Raider insignia inked on rear. It is too light to photograph well...
