I would carry my model 14- 6 inch but unfortunately it's hard to hide.So I'm resolved to carry my cobras, detective special,442 and 36s not bad alternatives but they just don't shoot as smooth as the 14.
davenelson the 14 is a fantastic shooter your friends are spot on and if you haven't shot it yet you will find out.If you have shot it you already know.Enjoy your 14.
As I've said before the 3 in 36s and their brother 37s are great little guns my two rotate into my edc quite often. I think you will really like that floating J 3 in 36. Enjoy it and shoot it whenever you can.
Brush2000,I like all of the 3 in 36s and 37s I have 2 36s and would never give them up.The 37 is lighter than my 36s. My rule is if I like it I buy it because I may not see another.
For me Markmontana it's the revolver. It carries extrodinarily well I shoot it well and am very confident with the.38s it uses.Besides I no longer own or seek to own any semis.
Gunsquirrel,I just went through this a few months back with a 70s vintage holster for a 3 in model 36.I first tried to send the holster back to the original maker after calling them up getting their ok and sending it to them.Unfortunately after they got it they said they were unable to repair it...
ImDrRich.I only have revolvers and they have been my choice since 1974 revolvers have served me quite well for the last 51 years and I have no intent on changing.
DuckBeav,I'd carry my model 14 S&W 6 inch revolver. If I was still on the job that 6 in would be no problem but today in retirement it's a 2 or 3 in snub.
Subdub 98 model 10s are neat yours is a beauty.I have 4 and 6 in and both a little older than yours and both a pleasure to shoot.Enjoy that nice revolver and congrats.
Muss if I recall they tried screwing with some LEOSA qualified carriers in South Dakota at the Sturgis bike rally a few years ago and got schooled by the courts pretty quickly.
