    Lead Hardness

Getting the correct size is more important than hardness to prevent leading. Too soft can be a problem if you want high velocity. Too hard is an issue because you are wasting expensive tin and antimony. You'd have to get lead that is harder than jacketed bullets before you reach some point...

Trends You Simply Can't Stand...Feel Free To Vent Here

Ginormous 9mm's like the Springfield Kuna. It's the size and weight of 4 9mm handguns marketed as a portable package. They huge and unwieldy to shoot and it only has a 6" barrel. They look neat, but that's the only thing they have going for them. If you're going to get a huge 5 lbs+ 9mm...

What Does The "A" After A Model Number Mean?

Don’t believe AI. I have no idea what the difference is but I know AI will basically make stuff up if it doesn’t know the answer. It can be very wrong regarding basic questions at times.

    little dolls on Jeep dashboards

It’s not new, back in the 90’s people would line their dash and rear window with beanie babies. My mom had a few and I remember being embarrassed about it.

I still miss my ex. . . . Buy my aim is getting better.

YouTube scam videos are flooding the net now

The content creators generally don't won't people to know it's AI. It's all a scam to try and get people to watch as much as possible and rack up clicks and views. I watched one a few weeks ago about a Mercedes SLK and a number of the shots were a Porsche Boxster. It was kind of hilarious...

    Which 357 revolver is next?

I’d use the 4” 686 for a night stand gun over snub nosed variant. I’d go with a 19 or a 627 for some variety. An 8 shot 627 is a great option for shooting at the range or a model 19 would be a slightly smaller frame than the 686 and they have a new no lock version.

    .38 Long Colt for plinking.

If you're finding .38 Long Colt for half the price of .38 Special, you're looking at a scam. There's tons of scammers out there. Beware

610 light primer strikes, have installed springs and new pin, still not firing

It seems like the answer would be blindingly obvious to me.

    The Kuna

I don't understand how it can be considered a small portable package. It's a ginormous 5 lbs 9mm! It's the size and weight of a Sig P365, Glock 43, Springfield Hellcat and a S&W M&P 2.0 all combined into one ugly gun. And it only has a 6" barrel so the ballistics will about match any of those.

    9mm Suppressor Advice Request

I use my 9mm AAC Illusion on a variety of 22 pistols and rifles. It works well. For me the biggest drawback is the size. If I bought a dedicated 22 suppressor, it would be much smaller. The nice thing about 9mm is that it generally has the same thread pitch as .22.

    .452" bullet question.

You should be able to get them to work. Different style bullets have different lengths. It’s not to surprising.

Why does one 9mm bullet plunk and the other sticks

That was my first thought. Seat them a smidgen deeper and they should be good.

What to look for, selection of 1980 and up S&W revolvers

What’s the price he’s at? $500? $1000? $1500? Throw us a bone. It’s a lot easier to give guidance if we have something to go on. IMO When the seller starts to go back on a stated price, it means they have no idea what they are doing or a person you probably don’t want to do deals with.

    Recent Auction prices.

I would have probably stopped watching after #4 went for $950. That is not a NIB 15-3. Obvious signs wear on cylinder, recoil shield, ejector rod. It's nice but not $1,150 nice and that's what you'd end up paying after premium, CC fees, shipping, and FFL fees.

Where does the extra 0.001" come from in cast bullets?

I wouldn’t worry about it too much. I size all my 45 ACP bullets to .453. Slightly larger shouldn’t be a problem unless the don’t chamber.

How do you actually enjoy a Magnum caliber revolver?

Technique is a large part of it. You'll build up grip strength and get better at trigger control the more you shoot also. you don't have to start with magnum rounds either. Master .38 Special first and then go up to .357's or what ever round you choose. Go to the range weekly or at least...

    Bondi Making Adjustments to ATF

He takes the most favorable interpretation possible and then goes further with it. The statement says Alcohol and Tobacco enforcement resources will shift. No officers will be diverted from regulatory responsibilities. It's a pretty neutral statement that can twisted many ways. I wouldn't...
