What caliber is your favorite revolver?

Nothing wrong with that, but I'm still puzzled why .22LR doesn't rank higher. I guess this crowd just favours centerfire rounds.

.44-40, the cartridge that put the Winchester lever action rifle on the map. #1 deer rifle/cartridge combo until surpassed by the '94 Winchester in .30-30 sometime after WWI.

HTTP://404 FILE NOT FOUND I'm sorry, the Colt chat room can be found some other place. If you're gonna hang out in the Smith & Wesson chat room, you must shoot .44 SMITH & WESSON Special. ....remember, Colt = overblown, beer-bellied .45....S&W = highly accurate and efficient .44. ...and now...

Reloading 357 Mag with 200 gr Lead Bullets

Actually, that would be the .38 LC round, not the S&W and certainly not the S&W Special round. .38 LC pushed a 150 gr. bullet to a MV of something like 750-800 ft./sec. The Moros wrapped their chests in wet leather, tightly. The bullets bounced off like they were shooting steel. The Army's...

    L-Frame?

Forgive me if this seems like a stupid question, but I've always wondered, what is the difference between a 396 and a 696? I've seen both guns and have never noticed a difference. I figure I gotta be missing something.

38 M and P, and an old Heiser. A match made in Heaven.

The gun is gorgeous! ...however, the holster looks familiar. I think my dad has one for his .22. Are Heiser holsters collectible?
