    Bond...James Bond

Nice grab, NavySCPO. Congrats. -b ...however, its the wrong caliber for Bond! Needs to be 7.65 (.32 acp), because only 7.65 has "...a delivery like a brick through a plate glass window." …;) I wonder how a PPK would compare to a Mauser HSc?

    Hunting Season Side Arm?

Used Model 66 with the 4.25" barrel. 37oz., 6 strong shots and you know it'll always go bang when you need it to. If you're not picky about make, Ruger SP101 with 4.2" barrel would work, too. Only 5 shots, but only about 27-28 oz. and just as strong and reliable (Stainless, too! -b ) ….I think...

    L-frame grips?

A friend recently picked up a 6" 686. My question is about those wonderful grips. Looks really good and the owner says they feel great. I noticed the company logo is on them, so I'm wondering; is this wood grips all the new guns get these days?

    Hello everyone!

Greeting from the PNW! Have yet to own one, but a long time fan. In my mid-50's now, but been shooting since I was a little kid. Used to do a lot of hunting in my younger days, too. Anyway, hope to have a good time here and maybe learn a thing or two while I'm at it. :)

    S&W Model 60 Value

Can someone please help me? For years now, I've been under the impression that the world's first stainless steel gun, the S&W Model 60, was first produced in 1965. According to this thread though, production actually started in 1969? I list various publications, over a time period of about 45...

Date of manufacture: 5K6,617 – 5K73,962.....1973 As you can tell by my user name, I'm kind of a fan of the 15/67's. I think you got The Cadillac of Guns, and at a really good price! I'm sure that grip makes the gun really nice to shoot, but I'm also a fan of the factory target grips. Anyway...
