Overpressure signs in a Model 66-3 with starting load data

I think he is saying the current cases were first loaded with .357 Sig V Crown 125 gr. bullets.

Overpressure signs in a Model 66-3 with starting load data

I have always used the effort required for extraction of spent cases as the pressure indicator for revolvers. If they are "sticky" beyond moderate thumb pressure, it could be over pressure, sizing die not reducing body diameter enough, not far enough down the case head or the case is to long for...

    625-3 floating hand.

My 25-7 had the "floating hand" making for a strange trigger pull to say the least. I bought a Ron Power hand, took my time fitting it and very pleased with the results.

    primer pocket crimp removal

After some years shooting X course I feel reaming is the way to go and a case mouth deburring tool does a nice job leaving a slight bevel for re-priming. YMMV

    "Neck Turning" 38 Special

I love to experiment but if there "is" any concentricity to be gained I believe the roll crimp will negate it IMO.

Would you by chance have a part number or UPC Code for this kit? looks very complete for a grab and go.

A heavy 45 Colt bullet problem - 1.6-inch overall length

I load a 325 gr. LBT WFN to the top crimp groove over 18 gr. of H-110 for my Ruger 7.5" Bisley. Pretty impressive load...an open finger weight lifters glove on the shooting hand is quite helpful for more than a cylinder full. Just saying.

    HomeSmith Trainwreck: The Rustbucket

Quick question please; do you plug the barrel and cylinder charge holes throughout this process to prevent damage to the bore and inside the charge holes? Thanks

Squib load in 44 mag and no explosion

WOW, 3 reloads and it looks like the only thing that stopped the shooter appears to be the last bullet may have stopped the cylinder from turning. Some people, no matter how well intentioned, just should not own firearms. Or, this was a deliberate destructive test which is just as hard to believe.

Best use of an old tooth brush

Absolutely! They are way better than manual toothbrushes and every time I'm in for a cleaning the hygienist comments on how well my teeth look since I started using one two years ago.

    Recommend a Gunsmithing Bench Block

If you are going to buy a few pucks for this application, is a puck, a puck and always just a puck or do they come in different durometers that may be better/worse for the intended purpose?

Want to get yourself frustrated? Just try to teach someone proper screw tightness!

There are a few people out there that have no mechanical ability. But most that cannot accomplish these tasks just never learned from lack of exposure to the process so I agree we should pass on our individual techniques. I know that is difficult to take in but we gun nuts, car nuts and clock...

    400 Corbon

Don't know about the .400 Corbon but the Tripp Cobra mags have tamed more than one fussy .45acp with on/off feeding issues for me. There may be some folks, one of which I am not, that can" actually tune a mag but the Tripp's have run in every 1911 I have owned.
