No. I used to go to Vegas many years ago but it’s a madhouse nowadays and I wouldn’t go near it now. Not my cup of tea anymore! :)
No, don’t want reload but thanks anyway!
I live in Northern Calif. near the Oregon border, (Dunsmuir, near Mt. Shasta), and I can’t order ammo any longer from the internet. I go to Southern Oregon to buy my ammo.
I’m looking for inexpensive .45 Colt range ammo and .12ga. MINI shot shells. There’s nothing here and I’ve been all over...
I have a beautiful aluminum Performance Center handgun case with the combination locks. I know the present combination but can anyone help me or point me to instructions on how to change the combination? Thanks much!
EDIT: Nevermind. I found the original instructions. Thanks anyway!
I had a 6" Python Ultimate, (mirror polished SS), that I bought for $900.00 back in the '80's. Finish was impeccable. I sold it for $1,000.00 just before Colt snake guns went through the roof.
I still have several Smith and Ruger revolvers and they're great but they couldn't hold a candle to...
May be an old thread but I like that...a lot!
I have been a Smith fan boy for years and own many but I just recently bought a Taurus M85 SS Ultralite. Being in Calif. it's in jail right now and haven't shot it yet but I checked it out at my FFL and so far am mighty impressed with it's build...
I have 100 loose rounds of older Winchester 125gr. .357 HP's that I want to trade for 100 rounds of .38 Special HP's. These are in fine shape with some whitening of the lead bullets. .38 +P or standard velocity is fine-GONE!
You did good! I don't have a 642 but I do have a 442 with lock and unlike others, the lock doesn't bother me a whit and it has been reliable as hell. My example has a sweet, smooth trigger.
As a tip. For over 20 years I always give my blued and even stainless guns a thorough coat of Flitz...
The debate about gun lube will continue on forever. All I know is all I've used for more years than I care to abmit on all of my pistols, revolvers, shotguns and rifles has been Hoppe's #9 for cleaning and Break Free CLP for lubing.
Whatever works for you is fine but those two have never failed me.
