My like-new Model 19 and Bersa 22 came from a liberal who was angry because #45 got elected. I was glad to fork over $350 for the pair.
Congratulations on your 38.
I once read where somebody got shot in the back of the head with something similar and they lived because the barrels were too short to properly burn the powder and accelerate the shot load.
Hello. Over the years I've disassembled/assembled my S&W's. I don't have a lot of them.
Took my 1950's era Model 18 out yesterday and it had light primer strikes in DA mode. Average one/cylinder full. SA was fine.
Do K Frame main springs ever need replaced, or do you just adjust tension at...
It's at an auction site about an hour and a half away. They seem to have a good reputation but...I called yesterday, asking about it. He didn't seem to want or be able to take the time to give me more information about the gun. He said he thinks it is a 32-20, and he said it is good...
Sorry for the cryptic information but this is all I have. I'm asking about a S&W 32 HE, SN#8009.
I was told, over the phone, that it is probably a 32-20, but he wasn't sure.
I realize this isn't much to go on but I thought I'd give it a try.
Thanks.
I posted earlier how my RIA single shot 20 gauge had to be sent back twice - then they replaced it with a new one.
The new one has worked perfect, never failed to ignite the cartridge (which was why I kept sending it back), and it is probably the most accurate slug gun I have ever shot. And...
I am a fan of G42's and pocket holsters.
I also have an interest in leatherworking but haven't got off my butt yet. I did pick up one of those rotary hole punches and I have a curved needle. Just need some thread......
This is a most excellent holster. Horsehide. I would like to make one...
I'd want to know if they can be fixed. I had to send my RIA single shot 20 gauge back twice before they replaced it with one that worked.
$89 is a cheap gun or an expensive paper weight.
I remember buying primers one or two hundred at a time for my 22 Hornet. When your only equipment is a Lee whack-a-mole kit, 100 primers will last you a long time. (I've since upgraded.)
