My first venture into loading the 38 special wadcutter

One thing to remember when loading for a M52. Always seat the bullets flush with the case mouth, not sticking out any. If the bullet sticks out, it can hang up in some magazines and not feed right.

    M41

I would lubricate the slide rails, and anything else that needs it. Autos run on oil. Dry rails may be slowing the side down just enough to barely work.

    617 Forcing cone Issues/fix

There are many rimfires and centerfires that need the forcing cone cut or recut to make it right. If you do decide to loan it out, be aware that the 1st chamber reamer disappeared into neverland. You would need to keep tight controls on who has it (have each person send it back to you to make...

How to bring revolver shooters back to IPSC?

I have shot all kinds of matches with a revolver since 1979. One of the big things here is allowing dot sights in the revo classes. This goes a long way to keeping those who can no longer see iron sights well enough, engaged in the sport. Some of the younger guys that wouldn't otherwise shoot a...

    hammer spring replacement question

The best way to make the rebound slide easier to return is to radius and polish the corners and flat surfaces where the bottom of the hammer and the rebound slide interact during the rebound cycle. Smoothing the sides and hole of the rebound slide helps some, as well.

    Well I found it

Chamfering the mouth of the cylinder throats and forcing cone allows more gas and carbon to escape than if they have sharp corners. Personally, I prefer them sharp. The gun will still work fine either way.
