    Late 50s 38/44 Heavy Duty

Thank you sir this was literally looking in the right place at the right moment. I've been on a Pre War binge this year and had kind of tabled a hard search for one of these. I guess the best things appear when you're not actually looking for them?

    Late 50s 38/44 Heavy Duty

I’ve been looking for a late 50s, high-condition, 38/44 Heavy Duty to add to my collection for a while now and finally scored. I’m not sure this has been fired as the strike plate, bore, and cylinder face are perfectly clean. Stocks number to the gun and the box has the serial number on it...

What is this in the 1902-1905 taxonomy?

What is this in the 1902-1905 taxonomy?

I'm not sure where your "1 out of 50" number comes from. As for "bad practice" well....I actually teach...specifically firearms and tactics for a living. And I'm quite successful. So I'll keep communicating in ways that I think are effective and you can choose to ignore writing on the...

David thank you so much for that very helpful information. Curiousity got the best of me and I measured the barrel. Really good eye sir as it’s 6 1/2”. Is that an uncommon length in a 1902?

Ahh okay. Thank you sir. That’s the first time I’ve seen it and I have several other pre war guns that I haven’t noticed it on. It’s super cool learning about these old guns.
