Are you saying that the Spam I just bought is not good for me???????? But it's so "salty delicious" fried up with my eggs in the morning. And my white bread toast ...........

End of the line for this old truck 1969 F100

There's folks that will pay pretty decent money for that '69 428 CJ, if it's an original block and 428 CJ heads. I had a '69 Mach I R code 428 CJ back in the early to mid 90's. Had the drive train totally rebuilt and it ran like a scalded dog. Unfortunately I had to sell it for a business...

Talk me out of selling my 3” Model 13-2

DON'T DO IT! You'll be sorry you did! Pinch your penny's, collect aluminum cans or deliver pizzas for a month or so to buy the one you're currently craving for! Experience speaking here. Sold guns are most often regretted and much more expensive to replace! Trust those "in the know". We've...

    I have a big problem.

A "Do it yourself" cerakote product was my first thought. However about 30 + years ago I bought a Mossberg 500 that I knew I was going to have outside a lot, and I paid a local gunsmith to parkerize it. It was pretty cheap as I recall, and it's still rust free. I like the idea of grease &...

    9mm lever gun

I'm keeping my Marlin 1894 .357 carbine (1979) that I purchased about 1992 for $175 bucks. I do have a couple of 9mm carbines (semi-auto) that work fine. I think I might be more interested in a .40/10mm lever gun myself. But I'm all for making more guns to entice more gun buyers! It's all...

    Cheap But Reliable

I like seeing old threads come back to life at times, as often I miss them the first time around. I think my favorite "cheap but reliable" of all times for me has been my old faithful Ruger P89. I bought it way back when they first came out (within the first couple of years anyway). Years...

    New 432UC

Congratulations on the purchase! However, from reports I read about them so far I have to ask,.......... are the sights alright and bright? I really want one, but have been reading about quite a few folks unhappy about the sights on them. Looks like it (you) can hold it's own at that range...

I told myself I wasn't gonna buy a gun today...

I told myself (smart enough to not tell the wife) that I wasn't gonna buy any more guns until I have, at the very least, fired all of the ones I currently own. It was a sorta half-hearted New Year's Resolution I guess you could say. Well I screwed that up by March when I just had to buy an...

    Ladysmith 65-6 bargain find!

Beautiful Lady, and the Sticky Holster is one of my favorite carry methods. It never moves and is very un-noticeable in everyday carry.

    Latest at Sonic Drive In

Never tried the Dr. Pickled Pepper thing, don't know if I ever will.......... but I do recall when a fellow at deer camp was putting tomato juice in his beer and I thought he was nuts, until I tried it one time. It's pretty darn good actually, so never say never.........

    Ladysmith 65-6 bargain find!

As far as I know they are factory laminated combats that came on it. I really like the looks of the smooth RB targets on "sprscientist's" Ladysmith, but these are comfortable. I just don't think they will conceal as well. Either way I'm not complaining!

    Ladysmith 65-6 bargain find!

Here's my "new to me" model 65-6 I stumbled across on GB for a "buy me" price of $500 bucks! I have no idea why it was listed like that. But the good Lord led me right to it at the right time, and it just arrived yesterday at my LGS for transfer. I'm all in at $585 bucks. The trigger was...
