    Hello Mr. Hog, mag can be quite significant. Post a Sn. I have a few factory nickels in the box. All my mags are factory. Some have a nickel base plate. I have never seen a nickel mag body. Some had blue steel X followers. Can you post a pic.

    Lee, good analysis. If the slide is nickeled , it sure does not look like factory nickeling. Or even bumper nickel.

    Mr. ezb, I have the same question on the buffing. Why was the Sn. area so heavily buffed. I cant see if the engraving was touched. Eyes are not that keen anymore.
