Chicago blames Indiana for their gun problems

FWIW, according to the article the gun shop in question is the third biggest supplier. I didn't see any mention of the first and second place suppliers.

Chicago blames Indiana for their gun problems

If they have the evidence to support their lawsuit and can convince a jury, it looks like the shop is done for. At the same time, I wonder if they chose a lawsuit rather than pursue criminal charges because the standard of evidence is lower.

Gun shop find: SA 1911-A1 FI Brazil 9mm custom

Looks good to me. I'm not sure if it's just the angle of the gun in the photo, but the front sight looks like a true undercut Patridge post. Haven't seen any guns with those in a long time.

    442 Question

I'm not 100% sure, but I think they use EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining, not Electronic Dance Music... ;) ).

What Started Your Interest in S&W?

Not really sure. My dad only had two revolvers, both Colts. I read a lot of different gun magazines when I was younger, so I'm sure some of that was an influence. When I worked armed security I was issued S&W revolvers, a 686 at one company and a Model 10 at another. The first revolver I ever...

    SODA BRAND MUSINGS (an observation)................

For "old school" sodas, I love cherry phosphates. Have thought about getting the stuff to make them at home. I know of a pharmacy with an old-fashioned soda bar where you can get phosphates, egg creams, etc. Nowadays, I just get store-brand diet root beer for my soda fix.

    Don't get old and fat!!!

That reminds me of a TV show I saw several years ago, back in the 90s IIRC. I think it was a non-fiction show with FDNY. A firefighter is shown doing bench presses. When he's done, he sits up, lights a cigar, smokes it, then starts eating a slice of pizza (or he eats the pizza then smokes the...

    Express Is Right

Mitch Rosen makes some good gear, though I have yet to get any. How's the stability with such a high-riding holster?

Nice. That video popped up in my feed the other day. Haven't watched it yet. He's one of my favorite YT chefs/foodies to watch.

Hanging a revolver in a gunbelt/holster for ready access

I played around with one several years ago. Not a good one, though. I think it was Uncle Mike's. It does take some fiddling and adjusting, but I think once you've got it adjusted it's just a matter of slipping it on. Mine was for my Beretta 92FS, and although I never went out and about with it...

My mom was out of commission for a few days after her 2nd Pfizer shot. I can't say her exact words as they would violate this forum's rules. She only had some arm soreness for a day with the 1st shot. After my 1st Moderna shot I did experience some nausea and a headache, but both were...

Hanging a revolver in a gunbelt/holster for ready access

FWIW, I've read that shoulder holsters are often used by bodyguards so they can quickly put on their gun, spare mag, and even a flashlight if they're off duty sleeping but have to get into action quickly during an emergency.

Best carry revolver? On a search for smaller defensive pistol

I like the 642 for its versatility (belt, pocket, ankle, etc.), but if I were going to get a snub revolver specifically for belt carry, the K6S would probably be at the top of my list for consideration. Since OP mentioned most of his experience is with .380s, I'm presuming he wants a snub to...
