You will find that your 52 Winchester is not very fussy about ammo as long as it is a standard velocity cartridge. I would leave yours stock.....will shoot amazingly well with irons. Randy

Update.... After much consideration I have decided to pocket carry in the outside flap over pockets of my winter parka...easy access...without having to unzip the coat or the vest I was wearing that day. Randy

I have 3 sets of binoculars....8x42, 10x42 and 12x42 all made in Japan. They perform as well as my Nikons and Pentax...might even be made by them. Also have a S&W spotting scope 20x60x80 ( I think) that is very good. Will post pics later. Randy
