Yes, grips are Herrett Troopers. They were in my grip box. It came to me with a worn pair of silver washer smooth targets. No marks on the sight base, I think it’s factory. Here are a couple close up pictures. The front sight blade appears to be a ramp that was heavily filed into patridge shape.

The 442 was introduced in 1993. In 1996 the 442-1 was introduced on the slightly larger J Magnum frame.

S&W has offered a variety of styles and shapes for N frame round butt guns. I do not recall ever seeing a true N frame round butt magna grip. As Truckman said the most common variety is some type of “Combat” grip. For example these VZ N round butts.
