Thanks, but let me clarify. Does the barrel in the slide feel tight when the slide/barrel are OFF the frame? I am hoping this is the definitive test of the S MP 9mm accuracy at least for an inspection. Thanks again.

Sgt Kramer: How does the barrel feel in the slide on these new guns? All tight? I've picked up a new one in a LGS and the barrel felt pretty loose compared to my Glock. One at a Gander Mountain some miles away felt good and tight.

If I had 'the inaccurate M&P', I'd think again, and look into a match barrel. If you sell the gun, you ARE out at least $100+. You can likely get a SL barrel for under $200 - right? Then you have a tack driver, and good platform that you MUST HAVE purchased because of the ergos, parts, etc...

As stated: CZ WILL NOT MAKE a lightweight standard production gun with a manual safety. They make guns for Western European social democracies in general, and really don't care what they sell here - that they sell here at all with those funky decockers is a testament to the quality of the gun...

I own 4 CZs. They ARE accurate. Don't worry, if CZ pulled its head out of its butt and made a lighweight gun with a manual safety, I would not be thinking about other guns (at least as much). But, CZ UB likely has too many socialists running the company, so this won't happen. :(
