My first big revolver was a super black hawk. It just beat me up. Sold it got a super blackhawk with a bisley grip. Have watched them on gunbroker they seem to go up and down but there are a lot of them out there. My first one new was 275$ its what i could afford.

I know its not right but i have bought some repop grips from Thailand. They are close copies to original grips as far as thickness of the grip. There is a pic of my 26-1 with a set. They fit very well but dont look original. Originals would be nice but the prices of original grips have really...

One thing i bought for my muffs was a hard side storage case just made to fitt muffs. Well worth the money.

I havent been to a gun show in 20 yrs. I dont need my knife sharpened. Was the same then. Lot of no touching the guns. Just look even if you want to buy.

I used to shoot a lot of 44 mag and hot 45 colt loads when i was younger. Hunted deer with a handgun thpught i needed the hottest load i could cram in. Practiced a lot. Then as i got in my mid 40's my buddy and i toned things down. More plesant to shoot. Kills deer the same.

I picked one up about 10 yrs ago. If i would have been interested in one 20 yrs ago they were all over lol! I miss the days about 25 yrs ago when surplus guns were all over and cheap!! Can't buy them all!!

I have a 5th model made in the late 50's they shoot. I dident pay much for mine. If you want a shooter they can be found r a regularly. Mine is far from a safe queen. Finish is worn so those get overlooked by collectors. The OM in 38 i have is thecssme way. Both are tite and shoot very well.
