My buddies and i have done that. Ran across something one of us couldent afford but too good to pass up. So it goes to the buddy network. At least we still get to shoot it even if its not in our collection.

I still have some family guns. Same story they got used to put meat on the table. Most are not safe to shoot but i wont get rid of them. Guns my grandpa had. Cheap guns my dad had growing up cause thats what they could afford.

I tell the younger shooters i know. They dont make them anymore so get what you want or you may miss the chance to get some really nice stuff. The newer stuff will be around.

My dad passed when i was in my 30's left a big hole in my life. Firm but fair. The summer before he passed we went fishing. I had a family worked a double shift was dead tired but made my self go. If you still have a dad around enjoy your time with them.

I picked up one of the lipseys gp's a few years ago. They are fun to shoot long distance. I got mine pretty chesp. Figured i would never have a model 16 or colt OM 32. Fast forward i ended up with both and a 631. Love 32's!!
