After many failed bids and many years i finally got a model 25,got it home and proceeded to clean it up a bit and look and behold it’s not a model of 1955 but a model of 1950,trued looking up the story on these and learned a little,still happy as a hog in mud

Is there any way to fix this or should I just leave it alone?im not leaving the pistol in box anyway

As I stated in another post,Irish Spring soap(I believe our entire bct company used it) coal smoke,diesel fumes,mildewed canvas,all take me back,having been raised on a farm the coal and diesel smell just made me homesick

Irish Spring soap,BCT at Fort Knox,don’t know why but it seemed everyone in our company had that soap,got a lot of flak from our di’s about how we smelled

I got my first job at a gun shop because I knew a lot of the oddball stuff that the owner didn’t know,like different 38’s etc,

Got a pitboss and love it,I hear the trager is a great one too,whatever you get be sure to use good quality pellets,makes a heck of a difference,and be prepared to spend lots of money on things to cook,

Personally I’d try different ammo,changing bullet weight may solve your problems
