This is how I carry mine also, a 642 in a Desantis pocket holster. Works great. It is a perfect fit in the cargo pocket of 5.11 pants.

If I were to go with the Performance Center version, I would most likely replace the buttstock and pistol grip with Magpul products anyway. Its what I have on my Wilson Combat UT15 and a build I've done, and its what I prefer. So I guess another question would be, is the barrel and the trigger...
